Kaylee was eating her dinner (avocado and banana...a winning combo :) ) and I was eating an apple the other day. So of course she wanted it. I peeled and cored one for her and she loved taking bites...and rubbing it in her hair. By the way, she ate over 2/3 of the banana (all but a bad spot I broke off), 1/2 an avocado and a little less than 1/2 of the apple, plus her milk, Apparently she was hungry!

Happy Easter!
Kaylee could not get enough of the Easter Bunny, and kept running back over to see him. She got very upset when we picked her up to walk to Barnes & Noble. Once there, of course, she was happy to run around the kids' section at the bookstore and we read a couple books.

Reading
As I've said before, Kaylee loves books!! She will sit for quite a while "reading" on her own. So cute. She was doing it for a couple minutes this morning before I got the camera, but continued for a little longer. (After this, she actually got one and brought it over to me and we read it -and another couple books- a few times.)

Piggy, Puffs, Bbrrrr
Not only does Kaylee make her "evil baby" face when asked, but she can snort like a pig! Very cute, here you go...
Also, she's been saying "puffs" for a while now (little Gerber finger foods. She used to refer to them as "puh" - just the letter P sound, but now says "Puh-ssshh" or "Puh-fffsssshhh" depending on the time). Here's that...
Both of those videos are from earlier today.
The next video is from a week ago. I'd been making "car noises" when she'd play with her little car (from my cousin's 2 year old son's "Cars" birthday party!), but she never did it herself until one day recently, sort of out of the blue she picked up the car and started driving it around while she made that noise! She makes that little car drive around everywhere...leaving a trail of spit wherever it goes. :-)

Walking and Talking!
Kaylee's been saying "uh-oh" and "hi" for 2-3 weeks (though she's still stingy with the "hi"), but yesterday she walked up to the coffee table, looked at her "box of mice" (as we call it) and said "ice" - !!! She brought it to me and I asked her to say mice (as in, "say Mmmm-ice, can you say Mmmm-ice?") and she did! This morning she said it a few more times, but of course when I got the camera she didn't want to say it unless she was walking away. But I did get it on here a few times. So this video is pretty much the same thing...over and over...for nearly 4 minutes. Feel free to not watch it all. :-)
FYI: the "box of mice" was a gift from my Uncle Dan and Aunt Sharon - it's a little fabric box with finger-puppet mice (all attached, you stick your fingers in through the bottom). Kaylee could play with that thing for hours.
